Audit Trail

The Audit Trail (sometimes called an audit log) tracks the steps of the signature process and can authenticate important activity related to the signature workflow and document history. The audit trail provides users with a clean and descriptive document highlighting all document information, active users, and document history. The audit trail can be downloaded from Nitro Sign and saved along with the document on a local or shared drive.

An audit trail is a digital log that allows you to track all document actions completed during the signing process, including when a document is signed, and by whom.

To access Nitro Sign:

Go to https://cloud.gonitro.com and log in with your email and password.


To view or download the Audit Trail:

1.  Open a document in Nitro Sign.

2.  Click the Information icon at the top right hand corner.

3.  Click the History tab to view a comprehensive Audit Trail detailing all activity associated with the document.

4.  Click Download Audit Trail under the History tab to download a PDF-version of the audit trail.  Once downloaded, the audit trail can be saved to your desired location or appended to the signed document.
