Creating & Using Stamps

You apply a stamp to a PDF in much the same way you apply a rubber stamp to a paper document. You can choose from a list of predefined stamps (such as Paid, Reviewed, and Approved), or you can create your own stamp with text or an image. You can also specify the color of text, and include dynamic content. Images can be any of these formats: .pdf, .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .tif, .png.

Tip: Stamps are stored on the annotation layer. You can move or edit stamps any time.

To add a stamp to a PDF document:

  1. Make sure the Library palette is open. (Window > Library or Command+Y).
  2. Select the object you want to create the stamp from (scribble, shape, image, signature, or text).
  3. Click the plus (+) button at the bottom of the Library Palette.
  4. Choose Add Selected Imprint. Your selection will be added to the Custom Tab.

Note: You can create a Stamp from multiple objects by holding the Shift key while selecting multiple objects. To remove a stamp from the Library, select the stamp in the Library Palette, and click the minus () button.
