Microsoft Word Add-in

You can now upload and send documents for signature through Nitro Sign directly from within Microsoft Word by enabling the Nitro Sign for Word Add-in.

Upload your documents straight to Nitro Sign from Microsoft Word.

To access Nitro Sign:

Go to https://cloud.gonitro.com and log in with your email and password.


Installing the Nitro Sign for Word Add-in:

1.  Open Microsoft Word and go to the Insert tab.

2.  Select Get Add-ins.

3.  Type Nitro into the search bar, select Nitro Sign for Word and click Add.

4.  The Nitro Add-in will now be visible in the Home tab of the Microsoft Word ribbon.

Note: The Nitro Sign for Word add-in is compatible with the following versions: Word 2016 or later on Mac. Word 2019 or later on Windows. Microsoft 365 (Windows, Mac & iPad).


Sending a Document for Signature using the Nitro Sign for Word Add-in:

1.  From Microsoft Word, open the document you would like to send for signing, then click Send via Nitro.

2.  The Nitro Sign panel will open on the right-side.  You will be prompted to log-in using your Nitro Sign email and password.

3.  Click Open Document to view and prepare the document for signature in Nitro Sign.

4.  The document will open in Nitro Sign.  Complete the Signature Request workflow, as normal.
