Using Multiple Windows

Nitro’s ability to split windows and create new ones lets you easily work with multiple documents at once. Whether you're reviewing documents side by side, editing the content or pages, Nitro's user interface makes it easier than ever.

Nitro's split feature allows you to work on multiple PDF documents at once.

To create multiple windows:

1.  Open the documents you want to view in Nitro Pro.

2.  Below the ribbon, click the document tab to drag and drop the document tab outside of the existing Nitro Pro window to create a new instance of Nitro Pro.

3.  You can move one document from one window to another. Click on the document tab, drag and drop it into an existing window.

Copying and pasting pages between windows:

1.  Open the documents you want to review/edit in separate windows.

2.  Open the thumbnail preview in both Nitro Pro windows, select a page, drag it to another window and drop into desired location of thumbnail preview of another window.

Copying and pasting text between Nitro Pro windows:

1.  Open the documents you want to review/edit in separate windows.

2.  Click on the ‘Select’ tool under the Home ribbon. Select the text you want to copy and either press CTRL + C or right-click and choose Copy.

3.  Go to the document you want to paste the content into, choose the Select tool and either press CTRL +V or right-click and choose Paste.

Note:  Nitro also gives you the ability to split the window into sections if you prefer working on a single window.
